The Senate Interim Committee on Energy and Environment adopted the committee rules dated Sept. 30, 2025, after a motion from Senator Golden and a roll‑call vote. Senators Golden, Pham, Robinson and Chair Solman recorded ayes; Vice Chair Brock Smith was excused. The organizational meeting concluded and Chair Solman opened the informational portion of the session.
The informational agenda announced by Chair Solman included a panel on Washington’s Climate Commitment Act, a briefing on federal actions affecting Oregon’s solar industry, and presentations on options for an energy and infrastructure fund. Committee members confirmed a tight schedule and moved promptly to the invited panels.
The clerk recorded the formal adoption of the rules; the committee then moved to the substantive agenda items without further procedural action.
