The House Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection adopted proposed interim committee rules during its organizational session on Sept. 30, 2025. Vice Chair Traichi moved to adopt the proposed interim committee rules dated 09/30/2025; a roll call vote recorded seven 'Aye' votes and two excused members.
Committee staff called the roll. Representatives Chilton, Gomberg, Reschke, Walters, Vice Chair Chaitche, Vice Chair Osborne and Chair Sosa voted 'Aye.' Representatives Tate and Wallen were excused. Chair Sosa announced, 'Motion passes,' and said the interim rules were adopted.
The committee then closed the organizational meeting and moved to informational panels scheduled for the rest of the session. No amendments to the interim rules were recorded during the meeting, and the committee did not set a new date to revisit the rules at the conclusion of the session.
