The committee also noted Senator Frederick was excused and would likely join later. The committee then closed the organizational meeting and opened an informational meeting to hear presentations on revenue, the committee’s statutory charge and the state budget. Future meeting dates were set for Oct. 22 and Nov. 19, with Oct. 22 planned to include a presentation on the draft report and public testimony and Nov. 19 a possible vote on the report’s adoption if the committee approves it.
