Trustees framed the addendum as a short‑term measure to increase coverage; Trustee Curzio and others said the district plans to budget for similar coverage next year. Trustee Curzio noted that final long‑term coverage levels will be subject to renegotiation and budget approval in the annual contract process.
The board voted to approve the amendment; the motion passed with the board recording all in favor and no opposition noted on the record.
