Lee said she will collect equipment from City Hall and circulate a volunteer signup by email.
Commissioners reviewed printed resources they have used previously, including a two‑sided resource sheet the chair sourced from the Department of Public Health and an older pamphlet from the Massachusetts Office on Disability. A commissioner proposed creating a one‑page summary that highlights the commission’s successful projects and grants to raise visibility. The group also discussed small giveaway items and whether to provide a branded bag or a simple distribution method for brochures.
No formal procurement or budget action was taken at the meeting; commissioners made a motion to update and use the materials and agreed to follow up on ordering or printing as required. The chair asked commissioners to send any suggested content and contact updates for the commission web page so the event materials reflect current membership and schedules.
