A commissioner moved to proceed against both parcels, the motion was seconded, and the board approved the motion by voice vote. One commissioner thanked "our attorney, Mr. DeMartino," for his efforts attempting to resolve the matter prior to initiating formal proceedings.
The action authorizes county staff and legal counsel to prepare and pursue the next steps in condemnation proceedings; no final court action or acquisition price was set at the meeting.
