Commissioners also reviewed AM 2025‑74 (version S1), which staff said "has passed the assembly, is part of municipal code and is being enforced." Chair (Speaker 1) and other members concluded that, because the assembly has already acted, "it probably makes more sense to let that one die" as a duplicate local resolution and, if needed, bring a fresh, separate proposal later.
The tabling preserves the commission's ability to consider a developed resolution with key participants present and to revisit AM 2025‑74 only if commissioners choose to propose a new, distinct measure. The commission scheduled B1 for Oct. 1 and recorded no opposition to the tabling motion.
