Frostburg council approves four resolutions including CSO and paving change orders

The Frostburg City Council approved four resolutions at its Aug. 27 meeting, including change orders for sewer and street projects and a confirmation of the city's pretax medical plan.

Mister O'Brien introduced Resolution 2025-39, a change order related to the combined sewer overflow (CSO) project that included charges described by staff as roughly $4,000–$5,400 for easement specifications and $300 each for 18 easement-related items. Council moved and seconded the item and approved it by voice vote; no recorded roll-call tally was provided in the transcript.

Council then approved Resolution 2025-40, a change order for the roundabout project totaling $8,817.35 to pay for two additional utility test pits conducted by Brutus and Associates to locate utilities ahead of construction.
