Councilmembers asked about a fringe-benefits rate appearing in the application; one councilmember noted fringe benefits listed at 42% of salary and asked whether that was standard. Nate said he would verify the numbers with finance before submission and that the city would not necessarily receive the full amount listed. The council then voted 7–0 to authorize the mayor to sign the application.
Next steps: staff will verify benefit-rate calculations with finance and submit application materials to Region M if appropriate.
