Committee members asked about the formula used to allocate funds; Smith confirmed the formula is developed through the director of planning, an appointed position that reports to the committee when appropriate.
A motion to accept the subcommittee's work was made and the committee voted to adopt the report and include it in the committee record. The chair invited the planning director to meet with the committee at a future meeting for additional discussion.
