Spring Hill BZA elects officers; staff to circulate bylaws and arrange training

The Board elected a new chair and Art Davis as vice chair unanimously, and staff said it will resend the 2021 bylaws for review and coordinate required training for board members.
At the July 15 meeting the Spring Hill Board of Zoning Appeals conducted routine administrative business, electing a board member as chair (volunteered during the meeting) and electing Art Davis as vice chair; both motions carried unanimously, 3-0.
Senior Planner Gil Moran said staff will re-distribute the bylaws adopted in 2021 and suggested a subcommittee to review and modernize them; staff also said required training opportunities will be offered to board members and that staff will provide support for any proposed revisions.
The board adjourned following the administrative business.
