Spring Hill swears in new city administrator and honors longtime firefighter

Carter Napier took the oath of office as Spring Hill’s city administrator during the Sept. 2 Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting, thanking the board and saying he was humbled at the opportunity. The board presented remarks of welcome and shared that Napier’s family and friends were watching online.
The meeting opened with a prayer led by Derek Barman of Church of the City, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Earlier in the meeting the board recognized firefighter Kevin Clemey for his retirement after decades of service to the department; family members were invited forward for recognition.
After the ceremonial items the board moved into its regular agenda and voting items.
