Board Accepts Resignations and Approves Hires, Several Supplemental Contracts

The superintendent presented a batch of personnel actions and the board approved them by motion.

Resignations reported included Rachel Taylor (EMS coordinator) and Joyce Kirkpatrick (transportation supervisor) with retirement effective Oct. 31; the superintendent said Joyce will be rehired for 60 days as a part‑time employee at three days per week. The superintendent also listed multiple hires and student‑worker appointments, including Laurie Michael as the EMIS coordinator (start date: Wednesday) and several student‑worker and temporary assignments.

The board approved several supplemental contracts listed by the superintendent: Joe Rutherford received a $3,000 supplemental contract for the fall weight room; Matt Dennison received a $2,000 supplemental contract for equipment and laundry duties; other supplemental assignments and step adjustments were approved as presented.

All personnel appointments and resignations on the agenda were moved and approved by roll call during the meeting.
