Commissioners approve routine business, infrastructure agreements and human-services funding

Key approvals included:
- Resolution 25-774: Approval of purchase orders and payment warrants (batch CMAPR0926) — approved 3-0.
- Resolution 25-776: Acceptance of the Prevention, Retention, and Contingency (PRC) plan for the Department of Job and Family Services; Bob Anderson said the Family Service Planning Committee reviewed the plan and recommended approval; staff will submit the plan to the state for final approval — approved 3-0.
- Resolution 25-777: Third amendment to the agreement with the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas, probate division, to fund the Guardianship Services Board; staff said pooled funding was received from another county to cover shared adult protective services cases — approved 3-0.
- Resolution 25-778: Owner agreements for Big Walnut Road widening and the Courtyards at Big Walnut Section 1 with EPCON. Engineer Lee Bodnar said the development is located between Satinwood Drive and State Route 3 in Genoa Township, includes a turning lane and drainage improvements, and construction is scheduled to begin next spring — approved 3-0.
- Resolution 25-779: Approval of three standard right-of-way utility permits — approved 3-0.
- Resolution 25-780: Declaration of necessity and intent to appropriate property for construction of a single-lane roundabout at Fancher Road and County Line Road in Harlem Township. Staff told commissioners negotiations with property owners were unsuccessful and that the project is 100% reimbursable through an ODOT grant; construction is scheduled to begin next summer — approved 3-0.
- Resolution 25-781: Acceptance of roads, speed-limit recommendations and release of bond for the Ravines at Hoover, a 56-lot development off Oxbow Road and Tussock Street in Genoa Township; staff recommended releasing maintenance surety, accepting just over a half-mile of roadway into the county system, establishing five stop conditions and setting a 25 mph speed limit — approved 3-0.
All votes on the listed resolutions were recorded as unanimous (Barb Lewis, Gary Merrill and Jeff Benton voting 'aye'). Several items had brief staff presentations from the engineer’s office and Job and Family Services; none generated extended public comment during the meeting.
Administrative remarks following the votes included thanks to staff, notice of a scheduled meeting with Congressman Balderson, recognition of Cassie Neff for a community mental-health award, and praise for five local school superintendents. No executive session was requested.
