City Engineer Steve Perez told the council staff received 12 applications — 11 residential and one homeowners association (HOA) — for the second round. A subcommittee recommended funding eight residential applications; the HOA application was incomplete and not recommended, though staff said it would work with the association to help prepare a successful future application.
Perez said the committee recommended a rebudgeting approach to carry funds into FY26 to allow flexibility in the program and to prioritize projects that provide tangible stormwater improvements. He noted there is nearly $100,000 remaining in the FY25 stormwater program budget and the committee proposed moving and reallocating portions into FY26 to continue the program.
