Resolutions and other actions: The council accepted responsibility to pay monthly maintenance fees for three Ameren Missouri atop street lights in the Belle Reve Springs subdivision (estimated at $855 per year), approved Resolution No. 1782 to reimburse up to $26,846 as part of the stormwater management cost-share program for eight residential projects, renewed legal-service retainer terms (city attorney retainer increased to $5,500 per month; prosecuting attorney retainer increased to $3,000 per month), and designated Busey Bank as the city's depository institution for a continued banking-services relationship. The council also authorized Task Order 2 with PGAV Planners for a comprehensive-plan update for the Bear East site (fee $60,000 plus up to $5,000 reimbursables, total $65,000).
Appointment: Council unanimously appointed Matthew Brown of the St. Louis County prosecutor’s office as provisional prosecuting attorney at $750 per court session (and $200 per hour for outside work).
