The Raytown Planning and Zoning Commission held officer elections at its July 10 meeting to comply with the commission bylaws. Steve Myers was elected chairman, Mister Sneddon was elected vice chair, and Miss Stock was elected secretary. Nominations and seconds were recorded on the floor and the results were announced by the presiding officer.
The commission also moved to approve the minutes of the March 6 meeting; the motion was seconded by Miss Emerson and carried by voice vote. The meeting concluded after a presentation on the comprehensive plan and a short discussion of next steps; commissioners later voted to adjourn by voice vote.
