Raytown renews ADS Environmental sewer-monitoring services for up to $24,700
Summary
The Board approved a one-year continuation with ADS Environmental Services for up to $24,700 to monitor seven sewer-flow meters and three rain gauges used in sanitary-sewer inflow-and-infiltration studies and for quarterly maintenance.
A resolution to continue an agreement with ADS Environmental Services for an amount not to exceed $24,700 was approved by the Raytown Board of Aldermen on July 15, 2025.
City staff said Raytown began using ADS services in 2022; ADS monitors seven strategic locations in the sanitary-sewer system and operates three rain gauges. The data are shared with engineering partners (NEAR Technologies and GBA) to identify where projects and inflow-and-infiltration repairs are most needed. The contract also covers quarterly maintenance of the monitoring equipment.
Staff described the renewal as a continuation of existing monitoring that has informed prior sewer studies. The board moved and approved the resolution by roll call with no amendments recorded at the meeting.
