Fenton Board adopts a slate of ordinances including special-use permits, tree services and election call
Summary
In a single session the Fenton Board of Aldermen approved multiple ordinances—special-use permits for several storefronts, tree-removal and fence contracts, financial-software and cleanup-service agreements, and a call for the April 7, 2026 general election—then recessed to a closed session on personnel.
The Fenton Board of Aldermen voted on and adopted a package of ordinances on Sept. 25, 2025, approving a series of special-use permits, procurement agreements and administrative measures.
The board approved special-use permits that will allow: a medical chiropractic office for Joshua Lippincott DC at 672 Gravois Bluffs Boulevard Suite E (bill 25-60, ordinance 45-81); a tobacco shop for Smoker Central LLC at 98 Gravois Bluff Circle Drive (bill 25-61, ordinance 45-82); a used merchandise store for MERS Missouri Goodwill at 685 Gravois Bluffs Boulevard (bill 25-62, ordinance 45-83); and a resale/consignment store for Wicked Finds Resale at 624–626 Gravois Road (bill 25-63, ordinance 45-84). Each measure was read, the council moved to waive the rules for second reading, and the ordinances were adopted by roll call.
Council also approved zoning-code text amendments related to primary façade materials in C-1 and C-2 commercial districts (bill 25-64, ordinance 45-85); authorized an agreement with Easter Fence Incorporated for the Fabick Nature Preserve fence replacement (bill 25-65, ordinance 45-86); called for the April 7, 2026 general election with candidate filing to open Dec. 9, 2025 (bill 25-66, ordinance 45-87); and authorized professional-service and maintenance agreements including a financial software update (bill 25-67, ordinance 45-88), tree-removal services with STL Tree Services LLC (bill 25-68, ordinance 45-89), and on-call cleanup services with Elite Properties and Landscape Construction LLC (bill 25-69, ordinance 45-90).
Most measures passed unanimously by roll call. On the vote to approve the tobacco-shop special-use permit (bill 25-61) the transcript records one alderman voting "Nay" while the motion carried overall. Several motions were handled under consent-style procedures with waivers for second readings.
The board concluded new-bill consideration and then moved into a closed session to discuss individually identifiable personnel records under section 610.021.13.
The ordinances adopted will be entered into the city code or administrative records per normal procedure; staff noted copies of bills had been available to the public in advance of the meeting.
