The Hudson City Council on Sept. 2 approved its prior meeting minutes and a package of consent items, suspended procedural rules for the consent agenda, and voted unanimously to enter an executive session to discuss real property acquisition and other matters the law requires be kept confidential.
Council President Foster moved to accept the minutes from Aug. 19 and Aug. 26; Councilor Heater seconded and the motion passed by roll-call vote, six in favor and none opposed. Later in the meeting Foster moved to suspend the rules to allow passage of the consent agenda; Councilor Sutton seconded, and the motion passed 6-0. The subsequent motion to approve the consent agenda passed by the same margin.
