Jamie Wilson, the district business manager, presented a three‑year snapshot of fund expenditures and highlighted items affecting year‑over‑year comparisons.
Wilson said a large insurance payout to HUB International in February 2023 and a one‑time $149,000 SERP/SRRP payment for 2024 explain notable variances between years. "So basically it is a snapshot of all the funds and what their 3 year is just so you compare it from year to year," Wilson said.
She listed specific purchases the board packet reflected, including expenditures to vendors such as Bruco, Frenchman Valley Coop, TC plumbing and heating, and a major maintenance invoice offset by a Donaldson Company credit related to a dust collector and wood‑shop air handler. Wilson reported enterprise fund spending for the month and federal fund purchases including Newsela ($29,400) and consulting/professional development costs.
Wilson advised board members to consult the online packet for full, up‑to‑date numbers and reminded the board the district is entering budget season. Members asked clarifying questions about specific line items and purchase timeframes; Wilson referred them to the packet and confirmed timing for select purchases.
No formal board vote was required for the report; the presentation informed subsequent budget and procurement decisions.
