During the public-comment period a resident identified as Miss Wasser urged the council to establish an animal shelter and strengthen animal-control services in the City of Florissant.
On old-business items the council approved an exterior color change for the Jimmy John’s at Washington and Lindbergh and rejected a special-use permit request to open a cocktail lounge at Floating Corners (the former Shade restaurant). An ordinance that would have allowed a gas station and convenience mart at Lindbergh and Lafayette was postponed to the next meeting…
