Kolish told the board that activating TIF begins statutory collections and “starts the 23‑year clock” for reimbursement to developers; each of those first readings carried with votes recorded as 6‑0.
Separately, the board adopted a public‑service agreement (Bill 65‑92) allocating $5,000 in 2025 to assist watering and maintenance of the Branson Veterans Memorial Garden. The board also approved an easement agreement (Bill 65‑93) with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission to support a Hiawatha Heights neighborhood water‑main project at no cost to the city.
Multiple ordinances to improve internal city operations were approved, including three legal‑department software contracts (Bills 65‑96, 65‑97 and 65‑98). City attorney Solon explained the purchases as cost‑saving multi‑year contracts for matter management, legal research and a matter‑intake/triage portal; the board approved all three on voice or roll‑call votes, 6‑0.
Other business included appointment of John Peterson to the Advisory Park Board (vote 6‑0) and a series of staff reports and board remarks on tourism and infrastructure projects. The meeting concluded with routine announcements and adjournment.
