FY27 schedule and engagement: The director reviewed the master planning tool deadline (Sept. 30 for department submissions), department returns by Nov. 7, the governor’s proposed budget release expected Dec. 20, superintendent budget update Jan. 20, proposed budget Feb. 17, and the public hearing March 17. The director described public input options including the master planning tool, Let’s Talk, direct contact with the superintendent or staff, and the public hearing.
