At the Sept. 2 meeting the board took a series of formal actions: it approved policy updates that had been presented for adoption, approved an MOU with the National Counseling Group (NCG) and an MOU with the Community Services Board, and approved readmission case O9022501. The board also approved the personnel list (pending submission of paperwork) and the volunteer list as amended after convening a closed session under the Code of Virginia for personnel matters.
The board moved and seconded routine items, with motions carried by voice or recorded roll call as noted in the meeting record. The superintendent's evaluation was tabled to the next meeting on Sept. 16 by a motion that was seconded and approved. The board also approved the minutes from the Aug. 19 meeting and the agenda for the Sept. 2 meeting.
