He asked the board to authorize staff to support the application process and indicated Drummond Town Preservation hopes to restore the structure to a community cultural and fine arts center if funding can be secured.
The board thanked Newman for the information and said they would discuss the request with Dr. Miller and follow up. No formal board vote on the marker application was recorded at the meeting.
