Senate committee reports governor’s appointments to state emergency services board
Summary

Chair Johnson convened the Senate Armed Services, Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee and introduced a slate of gubernatorial appointments to the State Board of Emergency Medical, Fire and Transportation Services, listing nominees including John Wymer, Hamilton Schwartz, Darren Rovinal, Mark Russanovich, Matthew Phillips, Brian Hathaway, Pradish George, Jeffrey Fischel, Karen Beavers and Dorothy Battles.
Vice Chair Wilson moved to favorably report the appointments to the committee on Rules and Reference. The clerk then called the roll; members present voted unanimously in favor. Chair Johnson instructed members to sign the forms as they passed.
The committee took no additional action on the appointments during the meeting and moved on to the next agenda items.
