Chair Chavez opened the third hearing and Vice Chair Landis moved that the committee favorably report the resolution. The clerk conducted a roll call; the members present — Chair Chavez, Vice Chair Landis, Ranking Member Smith, and Senators Serino, Demora, Lang, Manchester, Reineke, Schaeffer, Timkin, Weinstein and Wilkin — recorded their votes in the affirmative. Having sufficient votes, the chair ordered the resolution sent to Rules and Reference and asked members to sign the vote sheet.
There was no in-person testimony on the resolution; the chair noted written testimony available on members’ iPads. The committee completed the procedural vote and proceeded to the next item on the agenda.
