Summary

• Treasurer write-offs: The board approved write-offs of small personal-property balances totaling $123.01 and additional write-offs for deceased and aged personal-property accounts (combined total approximately $23,004.79) after the treasurer explained collection efforts and the option for later payment if estates produce funds.
• Polling place relocation: The board approved moving the Cullin/Red House polling location from White Oak Grove to the Red House community center. Electoral-board chair Glenn Baker said the new site meets accessibility and standby-power concerns; roll-call vote recorded in minutes.
• PSAP grant: The board accepted a state grant award of $150,000 to upgrade the county’s public-safety answering point (PSAP) to next‑generation capabilities; the grant requires no local match and the county will submit receipts for reimbursement as required by the grant terms.
• Jail locking system appropriation: Major Colbert described an antiquated jail locking system with parts no longer supported. The board approved appropriating funds from undesignated reserves to replace or repair the system under a cooperative contract used by regional jails.
• Planning/2232 review: The board found a requested amendment for the County Line (CPV) solar project (adding approximately 91 acres) to be in compliance with the 22‑32 review and referred the application back to the planning commission for conditional-use review; two no votes were recorded.
• Administrative approvals: The board approved listed invoices, a separate invoice group, utility payments for July, and a building-permit refund as presented in the packet.
