Board approves agenda, minutes and multiple board appointments by unanimous voice votes

During the consent agenda the clerk read a slate of appointments to boards and commissions (including appointments to the Center for Local History, the Economic Development Authority, the Housing Task Force and the Community Policy and Management Team). Board member Mike Hill moved to approve the appointment slate; Hill, Patterson and Atkins voted 'Aye' and the appointments were approved.
No items were listed on the regular agenda and the board proceeded to reports and the public-comment period.
