With a quorum present, the Public Safety Committee approved two bills by committee motion and roll call.
Vice Chair Miller moved that House Bill 131 be favorably reported and recommended for passage. The clerk called the roll; recorded votes show nine affirmative votes and one negative vote. The negative vote was cast by Representative Humphrey; the motion passed and members were asked to sign the report and indicate any cosponsor additions.
Later in the meeting Vice Chair Miller moved that House Bill 210 be favorably reported and recommended for passage. The clerk called the roll and recorded 10 affirmative votes; the motion passed unanimously as recorded and members were again asked to sign the report.
The committee took no further substantive testimony on either bill during the recorded segments and adjourned after completing the agenda.
