First-grader Huck Domini Domini shows board how he runs a bracelet business

"First I met a girl, and I saw how happy it made her," Huck said, describing how he decided to make the first bracelet. He told the board he sometimes gives bracelets for free to police officers and firefighters and that he reinvests some proceeds back into materials and future events.
Board members responded with encouragement and thanks. A board member read aloud one of the bracelet messages: "It says, ‘I am important.’" Superintendent Hebert and members praised Huck’s entrepreneurship and encouraged the community to support his pop-up sales.
The exchange closed with Huck leading the pledge of allegiance and the board inviting members of the public to follow his pop-up schedule if they wished to order bracelets.
The meeting record indicates the student presentation was an informal recognition and did not require board action.
