Summary
District leaders told the board the district administered about 30,000 CMAS/SAT/PSAT assessments and reported a 2.2‑point increase in the district performance framework, noting St. Vrain outscored state averages in multiple grades and subjects.
District leaders reported an assessment update showing steady improvement across St. Vrain schools during a regular board meeting.
Doctor Lauer and Jamie Ball told the board the district administered approximately 30,000 CMAS, SAT and PSAT assessments this past spring and provided a detailed report at a recent study session. "Overall, our district performance framework increased by 2.2 points overall, which is a really strong increase, of a steady five‑year increase that we have seen," the presenters said.
They said St. Vrain outscored the state in the percentage of students meeting or exceeding expectations in grades 3–8 in English language arts and math, and on high‑school PSAT/SAT measures. Board members highlighted a preliminary graduation rate of 96 percent and credited teachers and staff for systemwide gains.
The presenters invited questions and encouraged the public to review the in‑depth study session materials provided to the board. No formal action was taken during the achievement update; the topic served as an informational report to the board.
