Commission hears renovation and maintenance updates; Veterans Park courts on long timeline

Commissioners discussed sequencing construction and surfacing at Patterson so taking additional courts offline does not exacerbate court shortages; staff said $70,000 is earmarked in the CIP for fencing and lights and surfacing release is likely in October–November, but staff cautioned about timing to avoid reducing available court inventory during peak demand.
