The board approved a nine-item consent agenda that included minutes, warrants, bond approvals, monthly reports, personnel restaffing requests for the clerk and sheriff’s offices, ratification of coalition comments on the USDA NEPA interim final rule, approval of the Purdue opioid settlement, and a letter recommending the Community Fine Arts Center for a governor’s arts award.
The board also approved a resolution appointing a special prosecutor (Sublette County agreed to handle a matter at no cost) and authorized the county to purchase replacement Cisco firewalls (hardware from Advanced Networking Management for $108,926.50 plus shipping and professional services from 954 Consulting for $15,160, total ~$124,086.50, under the $145,000 budget line). Both actions passed unanimously.
Catering permits were approved for Eden Saloon & RV Park (one-day permit for a private wedding in Farson) and for Santa Fe Trails to cater the Solvay barbecue in Jamestown on Aug. 21; County Clerk Cindy Lane said the state form will be updated so the event location is clearly shown in future submissions.
All items above passed without recorded opposition.
