The board approved a professional-services selection for conceptual architectural work on a planned CTE remodel.
Facilities committee members reported they received multiple proposals and recommended QC10 of Sheridan. Committee discussion noted a more economical local plan but recommended QC10 for a more comprehensive program and concept drawings. The administration requested approval for $30,090 in base services with a potential $3,000 in reimbursable costs, for a total authorization of $33,090.
Board discussion clarified that the $3,000 in reimbursables represents potential additional site visits, drawings or change requests; any savings would reduce the reimbursable portion. Trustees moved, seconded and approved the professional-services authorization by voice vote.
Administration said the concept drawings will inform a later, larger architectural procurement and bid package expected this winter.
