Cigar-bar letter: Council voted to send a letter to the county health department expressing support for allowing licensed cigar-smoking establishments subject to health-board rules, citing ventilation and age restrictions in health-board oversight.
Other business: Council adopted official trick-or-treat hours for Oct. 30 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and later approved a motion to move into executive session to discuss legal matters.
