At the Sept. 23 Twinsburg City Council meeting, Christina Conway reported on the city’s 2024 Financial Health Indicators as released by the Auditor of State. Conway said the report listed two cautionary outlooks both related to the general fund: one small change (0.02% of a portion of general-fund revenue) and a 2% decrease in income-tax revenue. She noted 15 of the 17 indicators were positive and characterized the cautionary items as not alarming, citing that 85% of the city’s general-fund revenue comes from income tax and that such revenue can fluctuate.
Conway thanked the Capital Improvements Board and department heads for participating in the review process and described the preparation of the presentations as time-consuming. Council members acknowledged the work and deferred more detailed finance discussion to upcoming committee meetings.
No formal fiscal action (for example, budget adoption or amendment) was recorded at the meeting; Conway’s remarks were presented as an informational report.
