The Harkamore County Industrial Development Agency approved a resolution to hold a public hearing on the Bill School LDC project and later considered a motion to set a sale price for the property.
Staff presented the public-hearing resolution, saying the hearing would be similar to a prior Masonic project and proposed holding it on Dec. 19 in agency offices. The board moved, seconded and approved the resolution in open session with a roll call of members present.
Later in the meeting a motion was made to set a sale price for Bill School at $150,000; the motion was seconded and called, and the board completed the vote before adjourning to executive session to continue negotiations and pricing details.
Members asked to reserve fuller, nonpublic discussion for executive session where staff can review sale terms, developer interest and any outstanding conditions before a final public vote.
