Staff recommended releasing the remaining $25,000 to support outreach and membership expansion.
Board members asked about outreach plans and expected uptake during the fall move‑in season; staff said fall canvassing and tabling during move‑in would be a primary strategy and that the co‑op’s initial members were recruited largely through door‑to‑door canvassing. The board approved the motion to release the funds by voice vote.
