Staff: demolition underway at River Place and city to negotiate comprehensive-plan contract

Doug said the pre-construction meeting for River Place demolition was held and that demolition is now underway. He also summarized the council action to begin negotiations with Vanderwall and Associates after an interview process in which several firms applied; he said Ben Roher will be the day-to-day consultant assigned to the contract and that the city will schedule a scoping meeting to define next steps and the contract scope.
Commissioners had no further requests for information and the staff report concluded.
