Executive Secretary Miss McAllister updated the Planning Commission on recent administrative actions and scheduling. She said City Council on Sept. 9 approved the cases forwarded by the commission, including a nightclub case and two zoning text amendments. She reported the Board of Zoning Appeals approved two special exceptions on Sept. 16 and estimated the commission has handled roughly "12–13" developmental nonconforming‑lot cases so far this year.
McAllister noted there are no cases on Oct. 1 and asked the commission whether to forgo that meeting so staff could prepare for upcoming cases. The commission agreed to cancel the Oct. 1 meeting and to hold the next regularly scheduled meeting on Oct. 15. A committee meeting on the Jefferson Central Avenues study was also announced for Cunningham Midtown Community Center at 5:30 p.m.
These items were administrative reports and did not require separate motions beyond the scheduling confirmation announced in the meeting record.
