Grass Valley Planning Department introduces new associate planner Vanessa Fragan

GRASS VALLEY, Calif. — The Grass Valley Planning Department introduced Vanessa Fragan as its new associate planner during the Planning Commission meeting on Aug. 19.
Amy, a planning staff member, told the commission Fragan will start Monday and brings experience from other local jurisdictions. Fragan addressed the commission and said she has lived in the Sierra Foothills and valley floor, previously worked for Nevada County and Yuba County planning departments, and is "really excited to be working alongside you and in my hometown."
No formal action was taken; commissioners welcomed Fragan to the department.
