South Lebanon’s City Council on Aug. 21 approved a slate of emergency ordinances and resolutions that the mayor described as routine and time-sensitive. The council voted unanimously to waive second readings and adopt by title Emergency Ordinance 2025-16, which maintains the city’s residential solid-waste removal rates effective Sept. 1, 2025, through Aug. 31, 2026.
