The Dover Area School District Board of Directors reorganized its leadership and completed a slate of routine business at its meeting. By recorded vote the board elected David Conley as board president and later chose Director Kendig as vice president. Rob McKinney served briefly as temporary president at the start of the session while new members were sworn in.
Board members moved quickly through the agenda. Mrs. Weaver explained the Act 1 resolution the board considered, saying the measure would commit the district to not raise taxes above the adjusted index; the board adopted that resolution for the 2026–27 budget year, which the board recorded as an adjusted index of 4.9%.
