Planning commission approves two rezoning requests and accepts subdivision infrastructure

1550 Highway 96 North rezoning (PC 36-25): Staff reported the 7.26-acre parcel is within the interchange business future land use classification and that IG (Industrial General) is an appropriate zone district. Designer Corey Nelson described proximity to I-40 and said water and sewer are likely available; commissioners discussed the broad range of uses allowed in IG. The commission approved the rezoning 7-0.
Acceptance of infrastructure (PC 37-25): Staff said as-built drawings and construction for Kyle's Creek Phase 2 Section 2 are substantially compliant with plans and recommended the city accept the infrastructure for maintenance. The motion to accept and assume maintenance passed 7-0.
