Board approves updated lead‑in‑water management plan and adopts election staffing resolutions

TJ said the district has placed "non‑potable" stickers on restroom hand sinks that are exempt from drinking‑water testing, has retested and corrected fixtures that would fail under the new standard, and posts testing results on the district website. The board approved the management plan by roll‑call resolution with each called member recorded as voting "Aye."
The board also approved a resolution listing the names of election judges and absentee ballot board members for the combined polling place (Sarah and Lutheran) for the Nov. 4 special election. Board members discussed setting Nov. 12 as the official canvass date for that election and approved the canvass date and a time change to the Sept. 24 board meeting start time to 7:00 p.m. so members could attend a concurrent city meeting.
At the end of the regular meeting the chair announced a closed meeting under "Minnesota statute section 13 d 0.03" to discuss labor negotiation strategy; a motion to enter the closed meeting passed by voice vote.
