At its regular meeting the Bowling Green City Council approved a slate of ordinances and one resolution. Major actions included:
- Ordinance 9311: Supplemental/amending appropriations for the 2025 fiscal year — suspended rules and adopted. - Ordinance 9306: Bridal Road / Bishop Road roundabout LPA agreement with ODOT — suspended rules, emergency clause adopted, ordinance adopted. - Ordinance 9307: Pedestrian hybrid beacon at West Gypsy Lane and Slippery Elm Trail — suspended rules, emergency clause and ordinance adopted. - Ordinance 9310: Dedication of a perpetual easement for highway purposes — suspended rules and adopted. - Resolution 3888: Participate in local park improvement grant program — adopted. - Ordinances 9299 and 9300: Utility program renewal (AMP Inc.) and make-ready agreement with Buckeye Broadband — adopted. - Ordinances 9301 and 9302: Right-of-way dedications (deeds accepted) — adopted.
Procedural notes: Council moved multiple items under suspension of rules and, where indicated, adopted emergency clauses prior to final votes. Ordinance 9312 (property purchase agreement) had an attempt to suspend rules withdrawn. Ordinance 9303 (micro-mobility devices) was tabled for further clarification and will return to council on Sept. 15.
