District HVAC upgrades earn statewide energy-efficiency award, staff say 35% savings expected

"The scheduled efficiency of those buildings ... is approximately a 35% saving on prior energy costs," the presenter said.
Staff identified several schools included in the project: Choahatchee (Choatechee) Middle School, Indian Hills, Stagecoach and JFK; they said the district will track energy savings in coming years. Board members congratulated the facilities and central-office teams for the project and for the award.
