Bowling Green preservation commission keeps same officers, approves minutes, sets Sept. 23 meeting

The Bowling Green Historic Preservation Commission approved minutes from its May 27 meeting and re-elected its officers for another year at its August meeting. Commissioners set the next regular meeting for Sept. 23 at 4 p.m.
John Sampen was nominated and approved to continue as chair after a voice vote. The commission also confirmed Heidi Reager as vice chair and Jeff Haus as secretary; nominations were made from the floor and each position was approved by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
The commission opened with a roll call that recorded Heidi Reager, Will Radebusch, John Sampen, Jeff Haus and Ryan Rothenbuehler as present. A motion to approve the May 27 minutes was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
The chair read administrative business and thanked staff member Heidi Reager for preparing materials and reviewing National Alliance of Preservation Commissions (NAPC) videos for the commission. With no further business, members moved to adjourn and the meeting ended by voice vote.
